Oahu Scuba Diving Vacations

If you are wanting to book an Oahu diving tour in Hawaii, you will quickly find out that Oahu has a ton of amazing locations to choose from and Hanauma Bay is by far the most popular location to dive in Oahu.  Hanauma Bay was developed through a series of years of erosion on a side of a volcano crater and it is not affected by the trade winds because it is protected by the volcano which makes it an amazing scuba diving spot and for snorkeling over in Oahu.  You will see from the moment your eyes are set on the water that it is crystal clear and will notice a variety of coral reefs where you will be able to enjoy the Hawaiian marine wildlife and you will not have to worry about any danger as you scuba dive!

Another hot spot so to speak are the sea cliffs over in Koko head, will even be able to dive from a liveboard diving boat!  The water is a deep blue color which is offset by the gorgeous white water that comes down from the dark brown cliffs that you are surrounded by.  When you make your way out to Koko Head, you will more than likely experience some gusty winds, but don’t worry as the winds will die down and you get further into Moanalua Bay.  Once you get into the water you will notice that the it is much calmer compared to Oahu.  If you can, you will notice that you can do a dive where there is a World War 2 fighter plane that wrecked their and so if you love to do wreck diving this is a great opportunity for you have an amazing experience.  When you get to the end of the bay over at Diamond Head which are the last wind breaks before you get over to dive in Waikiki.  In Waikiki you can experience some great diving experiences as well.

When you are wanting to experience all the amazing dive sites in Hawaii, you should also consider doing a dive on the Moanalua Bay Fantasy Reef.  The erosion of that reef has given a wide variety of fish to hide and play and have fun!  You will notice the corals are very healthy and have not had any damage at all and because of that it is considered one of the best diving spots in Oahu.  You will enjoy the marine life as you will be able to see sharks, turtles, eels, barracudas and even octopus!  The bottom line is that we know that you will have a ton of fun diving in Oahu and all of Hawaii.
